Ted's Montana Grill teams up to raise money for No Kid Hungry campaign
8/26/2014: .

Ted's Montana Grill is teaming up with Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign to help end childhood hunger in America, one meal at a time. Beginning August 25 through September 28, guests who donate $5 or more to the campaign will receive a $5 thank-you certificate for a future visit. Every dollar donated can help provide up to 10 meals to kids in need.

Ted’s Montana Grill has raised over $300,000 for No Kid Hungry since 2008 and hopes to raise another $200,000 this year alone to help provide two million meals to hungry children in America. Ted's Montana Grill is also encouraging its restaurant teams to get involved by offering weekly and grand prizes to the top fundraisers.

"We want to see every child get the food they need, every day," said George W. McKerrow, co-founder of Ted's Montana Grill. "Together with the generosity of our guests and the fundraising spirit of our restaurant teams, we can fight childhood hunger in America."

One in five children in this country struggles with hunger. The good news is that this is a solvable problem. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger in America by connecting kids in need to nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals, and by teaching families how to cook healthy, affordable meals at home. Since the campaign’s launch, No Kid Hungry and its partners have connected kids struggling with hunger with more than 107 million additional meals. This work is accomplished through the No Kid Hungry network, made up of private citizens, public officials, nonprofits, business leaders and others providing innovative hunger solutions in their communities. Join the fight at NoKidHungry.org.
