Oakleaf officially opens in Pittsboro
Oakleaf restaurant has officially opened its doors to the public. The eatery, which features four-star seasonal bistro cuisine in the ambiance of a renovated textile mill, is located in downtown Pittsboro.
With an emphasis and value of supporting the local community, Oakleaf's menu selection offers plates made with ingredients from local farmers such as pork from Lily Den Farm, goat cheese from Celebrity Dairy and grass fed beef from Cane Creek Farms.
Realizing a life-long dream of opening a restaurant - coupled with the importance of providing guests with local food filled with flavor - restaurant owners Brendan and Leslie Cox soon realized Pittsboro would be the perfect fit.
"After almost 10 years of searching for the perfect location, we found it here in Pittsboro," Brendan Cox says. "From providing fresh ingredients to creating decorative tabletops, the people of Pittsboro have truly embraced and welcomed Oakleaf with open arms."
With a dining area seating 64, a relaxed bar area for eight, and a banquet room to accommodate private parties ranging from 90 to 125 people, Oakleaf offers an intimate experience yet makes room for those who wish to share special occasions with more family and friends. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for lunch and from 5:30-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday for dinner and from 5:30-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. There also is brunch available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. It is located at 480 Hillsboro St.
